The two part Vario screen has an adjustment range of 52 mm, fully extended it is about 9 cm taller than the original screen. Two thumb screws on the back side make adjustment to desired position simple. Some air flows beneath the upper part of the shield, equalizing pressure and greatly reducing turbulence and buffeting. The screen is available in either grey/shadow ?Smoked? or clear Transparent, and the whole appearance is very ?technical?. The benefits of the adjustments are that combined with the back-to front adjustment it allows the screen to be matched to various riders and riding conditions. For off road a lower screen is an advantage (to enable better viewing) and on rainy rides a fully extended screen offers best protection. Can be fitted to the Adventure so riders can experience the joy of screen adjustment as well, but an adapter kit is needed (see end of screens section for ?GS Screen Kit?). ABE approved.
