The new Mark II Pivot Pegz have arrived!

Pivot Pegz are high performance motorcycle footpegs that incorporate a unique spring loaded pivoting action that allows the footpeg to pivot forward and backward and move with the natural motion of the rider's feet.

Pivot Pegz spring loaded self-centering pivoting action provides substantial benefits and a real competitive advantage to riders of all ages that ride or race any road trail, enduro, motocross, trials or dual sport motorcycle.

In a nut shell, conventional footpegs are static, they do not actively assist the rider. Pivot Pegz are active and assist the rider and in doing so provide substanstial benefits like promoting faster and smoother body positioning while providing constant, maximum foot peg grip and load distribution. These footpegs enhance bike's feel and control by allowing the bike to float smoothly underneath you when crossing rough ground. Many riders say they feel more 'in sync' with their motorcycle when using Pivot Pegz.

Pivot Pegz Applications

Adjustable Height
The height of Pivot Pegz is adjustable on most motorcycles and takes less than 10 minutes allowing you to lower your Pivot Pegz by up to 10mm - but most will find that the factory position is best.

Strength & Durability

Pivot Pegz have been designed and built to last. They are a designed using computer modelling software and are a precision built product formed by investment casting using aerospace grade stainless steel which is then CNC machined and heat treated . Pivot Pegz are then polished to a mirror finish

Internally a high quality PTFE bush is used in combination with saltwater-proof grease, and O-ring seals at both ends of the pivot shaft protect the moving components..

Mick Extance

Pivot Pegz Go The Dakar Distance!

Riding his Honda Britain sponsored XR 650 Mick Extance survived the gruelling 16 day 2005 Dakar rally. Internationally recognised as the toughest off road event in the world Mick finished a fantastic 46th from some 250 motorcycles that began the event.

Using a new set of Pivot Pegz Mick covered the 9000 km of the most rugged terrain in the world with out any damage or signs of wear from his foot pegs. When asked about how Pivot Pegz performed during the event Mick said "these pegs were as good at the end of the event as they were at the beginning".

Pivoting Action

Only Pivot Pegz have the unique & patented spring loaded self-centering pivoting action. The utility of this spring loaded action can not be understated.

A computer designed spring holds the peg in its central position and provides optimized resistance and shock absorbsion during the pivoting action. When forward or rear pressure is applied, the peg pivots in a smooth and predictable manner. When pressure is released the peg instantly returns to the neutral position. The spring loaded action of Pivot Pegz also provides valuable force feedback to the rider and assists in returning their feet to the central position.

The forward and backward pivoting action of Pivot Pegz is limited to an optimized range of motion.which has been determined by extensive evaluation tests.

Pivot Pegz work quite well without the springs, if that is the rider's preference.

Pivot Limiter

All Mark 1 and Mark 2 Pivot Pegz are designed to accept Pivot Limiters which are available in pairs and are designed to allow the rider to customise the range of forward pivot in order to suit different riding situations.

By removing material from the Striking Surface of the Pivot Limiter the user can acquire a forward pivot setting of between 1 to 20 degrees. This functionality allows the user to customize the amount of forward pivot to suit specific track conditions. The user can then keep a number of customized Pivot Limiters on hand and ‘dial in’ their foot pegs to suit their exact requirements.

TÜV certification is achieved by a product once it has passed independantly certified tests by TÜV Rheinland. TÜV certification is a highly regarded product attribute. In some countries TÜV certification is a compulsory legal requirement for road going motorcycles.
